Apple Crumble Pie

2 frozen pie crust, defrost 10 to 15mins

For Filling
5 large apples, sliced
2 tablespoon lemon juice
½ cup SIS Brown Sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder

For Crumble
75g butter, cubed, room temperature
1 cup plain flour
1/3 cup of SIS Raw Sugar
¼ teaspoon salt

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Place the pie crust into the pie tin.
  3. Prepare the filling. In a mixing bowl, mix apples, cinnamon powder and SIS Brown Sugar, lemon juice until combined. Spread the filling into the pie crust.
  4. Prepare the crumble. Mix flour, SIS Raw Sugar, salt in a medium bowl. Rub butter into the mixture with your fingers until crumbs are formed.
  5. Scatter the crumble onto the apple crust.
  6. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes or until the crumble is lightly brown.
  7. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
