Iced Lemongrass Tea

Ingredients

5 stalks lemongrass
2 litres water
100g SIS Fine Grain Sugar
3 green tea bags

Method

  1. Wash the lemongrass and remove the outer tough leaves. Cut into 3 parts and bend them several times to release the flavour.
  2. In a big pot, add lemongrass, SIS Fine Grain Sugar, green tea bags and water, bring to boil. Remove from heat.
  3. Strain and pour the lemongrass tea into a pitcher jug.
  4. Chill in the fridge before serving.
